Time for Five Year Olds to be Counted

Lake Schools look forward to welcoming the class of 2021!

Lake Stevens School District is looking for all children who will be five years old by August 31, 2008!  Parents, now is the time to register your student for the 2008 - 2009 school year. To attend kindergarten starting September 2008, students must be five years old by August 31, 2008.

Why now?  The district would like to be as prepared as possible for the graduating class of 2021!  Hiring the proper number of teachers, having the correct number of books and supplies, developing class lists, and planning bus routes are all tasks that occur at this time of year and in the early summer months.

Additionally, the district wants to get to know the kindergartners that will be joining the Lake Stevens schools in the fall and insure that the required paper work is completed and parent’s questions are answered.

The registration process is easy as 1-2-3!

1. Access the required forms at www.lkstevens.wednet.edu/kindergarten or pick them up at your neighborhood school; 

2. Complete the forms and coupled with the required health records;

3. Call your neighborhood elementary school and make a screening appointment during the week of May 12.

INSCRIPCION PARA KINDERGARTEN
KINDERGARTEN INSCRIPCION 2008-2009

Aquí esta paso a paso el proceso para registrar a su estudiante para el ano escolar 2008-2009. En orden para que un estudiante entre a kindergarten al comenzar septiembre 2008, el estudiante debe tener 5 anos cumplidos para el día 31 de agosto, del 2008. Antes de registrar a su estudiante en la escuela de su vecindario, por favor complete los siguientes documentos y tráigalos con usted al tiempo de inscripción. Forma de Inscripción de Información General del Estudiante Forma de Inscripción del Historial de Salud Inspección de Lenguaje y Oído Inspección de lengua que se habla en casa Carta de vacunas Certificado de Tarjeta de Vacunas del Estado CIS Tarjeta de Información de Emergencia del Estudiante Estos documentos pueden ser obtenidos de tres maneras:
1. En la pagina del la red del Distrito www.lkstevens.wednet.edu
Bajo, Para Padres oprima Kindergarten Registration. Ahí podrá
bajar formas completas e imprimirlas.
2. Puede recoger un paquete con las formas en su futura escuela.
3. Puede recoger un paquete el día del examen de Kindergarten
de su niño, y lo puede completar mientras que espera la cita para
el examen de su estudiante.
Cuando registre a su niño en la escuela por favor traiga sus formas de registro completas y además estos otros documentos de su niño: Numero de Seguro Social Acta de Nacimiento Prueba de Vacunas Con su paquete completo y certificados en mano, usted puede registrar a su estudiante en su escuela en las siguientes fechas. Las horas para citas estarán disponibles comenzando el día 7 de Abril. Si usted no esta seguro a que escuela debe de atender su estudiante, por favor llame a la oficina de transportación del Distrito Escolar de Lake Stevens al (425) 335-1508 o puede llamar a la Sra.
