Lake Stevens High School Leadership Visits Ashley Point Seniors
After the Homecoming Assembly at Lake Stevens High School, Leadership students took Homecoming activities to the senior citizens at Ashley Point, a senior’s resident facility in the community
Over twenty students, some members of the football team and homecoming court, shared their enthusiasm and energy with residents singing the Viking fight song, working on puzzles, talking about football and school today.
Students were highly interested in where the seniors went to school, what classes they took, where they graduated from, who graduated from Lake Stevens, and was the old “Pink Palace” high school really pink!
After an hour of visiting, students had to get back to school, but left hoping to visit again this year. Certainly, when Ashley Point residents heard the fire works exploding at half time, they were with the students in spirit, cheering hard for the Vikings.
