Kindergarten Registration Begins Now!

Parent Information Night – March 12 – Step One!

A kindergarten orientation for parents of next year’s kindergarten class of 2009 is set for Thursday, March 12, 7-8 pm, at Cavelero Mid High in the commons.
This orientation is designed for parents and guardians.  In August and September kindergarten students will be invited to open houses and will have a scheduled time for orientation and screening.

Please mark your calendars to join other parents in learning how to give your child the best possible start to kindergarten.  A thirty minute general session will provide information on registration and preparing your child for school.  Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to meet principals and kindergarten teachers who can answer your questions.  Learn the standards your child is expected to master, school routines, schedules and much more.

At this meeting you will receive registration materials, meet representatives from all six elementary schools, have the opportunity to meet representatives from community groups including United Way of Snohomish County, the Sno-Isle Libraries, the Lake Stevens Family Center and the Academic Beginnings for Children (ABC) Coalition and child care information.
