Lake Schools set Telephone Community Survey

The Lake Stevens School Board is currently exploring the possibility of proposing a technology levy along with the Maintenance and Operation Replacement Levy on the February 9 election ballot.  The district schools’ needs are great with aging T-1 (phone line) infrastructure, inequities in standardized equipment across elementary and secondary schools, and aging computers. 

A community telephone survey conducted by CFM Research will take place October 9 – 12, which will provide the board with community sentiment and knowledge on the issue of technology needs in Lake Stevens schools.  This survey will provide measurable concrete information within a 3-5% margin of error and will be a random community telephone survey of approximately 250 community members.  The survey will also seek information regarding how the community perceives the work of the district and communication preferences.
