This is a chance for Highland, its students, and staff to share with others our story of leadership. Once per year, we open up our school to visitors who would like to learn more about our leadership model. This morning program (9:00 am - 11:30 am) provides our students, classrooms, and clubs/activities a chance to share their leadership stories! We ask our students to take a risk and practice their leadership skills on this morning. Please join us if you can! We have approximately 70 seats available, and ask that you RSVP via email at kristen_hagen@lkstevens.wednet.edu, or 425-335-1585. • Building a Growth Mindset at Highland

We have started the school year by talking with each student at Highland about having a growth mindset. It's the foundation for everything that we are trying to do here for students each day. In order to truly grow as learners and leaders, we need our students to have this mindset, and that requires the adults at Highland to also model this belief that anything is possible for any person. Click on the headline to see a video that describes exactly what a growth mindset is, and how you can support this in your child!
