HomeLink students have access to their email, documents, and educational portals. Most apps students access remotely both at school and home need to have the student logged into their school account to grant access. Any time an account is used on a public computer, make sure to log out. Failing to do so allows others access to all account information (email/drive) All communication with teachers and all school work should be done via student account. Google is integrated to work harmoniously and keeps track of all documents and nothing can be lost.

Dear HomeLink Families:
In the past week we have had a variety of changes due to the spread of COVID-19. We continue to deal with uncertainty as these changes seem to keep coming. What is not changing is HomeLink staff’s dedication to partnering with you to ensure that our students keep learning and growing while schools are closed.
Teachers will continue to contact our families to check in on their students. They are great resources and will provide some learning opportunities tied to their classes. These will not be collected or graded. These opportunities will vary by teacher and class. Additionally, our school counselor, McKenzie Harsin, will be available via text, email and phone if you need to contact her.
A few of our ALE rules have been suspended for the duration that schools are closed:
Two way communication will not be required
There will be no requirement for monthly progress reporting or intervention plans for
Staff has been directed to work from home and will not be in the building. Look for your teachers to start contacting you the week of March 23rd. Feel free to reach out to me at 425-754-7834 or Tina_Vinnick@lkstevens.wednet.
Please also continue to check the school website for updates.
You can expect more communication from the district and from me in the coming days and throughout this closure. Although this is a difficult situation, remember that otters stick together.
Please stay healthy and safe!

HomeLink Parent Partnership is a public school option for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. We serve families dedicated to taking an active role in the education of their children. Students may attend for as little as two courses per week, while others are enrolled as full-time public school students who invest 28-30 hours per week depending on grade level. Students who wish to join HomeLink must have 90 days of documented, successful homeschooling in the last two years to be eligible to join the program. Students who do not meet that eligibility may enroll provisionally for 90 days (see our 90 Day Mentor Program). HomeLink operates under the Alternative Learning Experience rules and guidelines through OSPI.
