Our conferences will be student led this year and they are looking forward to the opportunity.  As a Leader in Me school, it is our purpose and goal to build life long learners and students that impact the world they live in.  Reflecting on their learning and documenting their growth is a great way to start this process.  They will be sharing their data notebooks with you as well as setting some goals as a family and student in order to increase their learning as well as accountability as a fourth grade student.  Please make sure that they are able to attend with you so that they can share all their great news.

    Curriculum Night Thursday, September 27th @ 6:30:
If you feel that you would like to have an individual meeting with me, please email me and we can meet directly after (until 7:30) or I can meet Friday from 3:50-4:50.
Homework is due the next day after it is assigned.  Please make sure to check your child's planner to prevent them from having to stay in for recess because of missing assignments.

I have opened Skyward now so you can see assignments that have been graded as well as any missing assignments that you child might have.  Please make sure to keep an eye on this to make sure that your child is staying up to speed with the learning in our classroom.

This is where I will keep you up to date on quick changes or needs for our classroom.  It will be a running list so you can always scroll down and see what was there before.
Please watch the website as I will be placing a survey up for our curriculum night.  It is changing from our original one because I will be out of the country.
We have had a lot of paperwork come home over the last few days.  The students are really working hard to put first things first and stay in touch with their homework.  If you have not had a chance to look at their work and read through it, please do so over the weekend so they can return it on Monday.
The supply list is posted on our website to the left.  On there is a list of things that were not listed as well as a few wish items.  Please take a look and see if you can help at all.  Most needed are the colored folders with the brads.  We are putting together Rocket Math books for the students and cannot do so until everyone is color coded.
Please remember to sign the planners every night AFTER looking at their home learning.  This is really important to the students and their communication to you.
    Thank you,

Welcome to room 15 home of Kendall’s Kenyan Kids.  This classroom website has been created as a resource for you as my students as well as your families.  You can find links to explore, student work, links for help, classroom news, and much much more!  Families, you will be able to see what is happening in class and in our school, find important dates on our calendar, and what major projects and home learning assignments are due.  The navigation bar on your left will take you back and forth through the many wondering pages of knowledge, information and learning.    If you have any questions, I can be reached at the email listed above.  If you would like to be added to the email distribution list, please email me a quick hello email and I will add you in.

Enjoy your visit and make sure to come often as we will be updated as much as possible.
