  • Kindergarten enrollment: Families should wait to return their completed kindergarten enrollment packets until schools return to their normal schedules. The district office is not accepting kindergarten enrollment packets. We want to protect the health of our employees and limit public exposure.

  • Chromebooks

Dear Lake Stevens School District families,

Thank you for your patience as we worked to prepare for the second round of Chromebook distribution. If your elementary student needs a Chromebook to access learning resources, and you do not have another device at home for him or her to use, please join us on Monday, March 30 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Cavelero Mid High School.

Remain in your vehicle, and drive-up to get a device. We are unable to accommodate walkup checkouts. As you approach Cavelero, drive to the back of the school and turn left. Follow the signs to the bus loop. Please refer to the attached map for more details.

You will need your student’s name, birthday and student ID number. We do have the ability to look up student ID numbers if you don’t have it. Parents and guardians may check out a device without their student present. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive a device. Please do not send your student on their own. At this time, we will only issue one device per family.

If you are in need of a Chromebook and are unable to join us during one of the listed times, please call 425-335-1500, and we will arrange a time to connect with you. Or, you may email

We appreciate the offers we have received from families willing to return their borrowed devices to increase our supply. This is not necessary. However, this distribution is only for elementary students who do not have access to another device.

Please note that we are not exchanging or accepting Chromebooks from the first checkout. If you have an issue with your device, please call 425-335-1500 or email

Students are able to access a number of learning resources on a variety of devices. While Chromebooks are the district’s chosen device, they are certainly not the only option.

Here are directions on how to access Clever and to manage Content Keeper

    Thank you

Resources are available for families in need of Internet access during our school closure. Comcast’s Internet Essentials program offers free Internet access for the next two months for qualifying families who are new customers. For more details please visit,

We are exploring additional options for families to use to access the Internet. Information will be shared as it becomes available.

Contact our support team for assistance at if you encounter issues with Content Keeper blocking access to materials and resources. Please contact our tech team using "Content Keeper Block - Personal Chromebook" in the subject line.
