• Professional Learning

As we become more astute at our use of technology, less time is being spent on skill oriented workshops and more time and resources are being devoted to methods that integrate technology training into content area training.  Our Instructional Coaches are all quite adept with technology and work with teachers constantly to find meaningful ways to use technology to enhance student learning and engagement.

Engage Students in Learning with Classroom Video Projects

    Want to get your students:

    • excited about writing?
    • reading and synthesizing complex material?
    • learning to ask great questions?
    • becoming astute listeners?
    • collaborating with a team to deliver a quality product?
    • learning life-long skills that can be used in many careers?
If so, you are ready to help your students create video projects to demonstrate their learning!
Your work during the three class sessions will help you understand how to create, manage and share video projects in your classroom.  You'll create several of your own video projects using the LSSD licensed WeVideo web app while learning how to use the incredible teacher management tools built in the education version of WeVideo.  You'll leave the workshop with ideas for projects, a plan to manage and monitor the projects in your classroom, and the confidence to start the new school year with a new classroom learning tool.
