    Our Food and Nutrition Services Department will continue to adjust and provide meals to students as the district implements the transition to Hybrid In-Person Learning. We hope that all students can take advantage of the meal service options available to them at every opportunity. For the remainder of this school year, breakfasts and lunches are FREE for all students.

    In-person learning meal options vary by grade level and building schedule

    Hybrid In-Person Learning & Distance Learning

    Half Day - In-Person for elementary students, four days a week: 

    Meals are expected to be consumed at home before and/or after a.m./p.m. cohort sessions.

    If you are unable to access curbside FREE 5 Day Meal Kit service on Wednesdays to have kid- friendly meals at home readily available for your child, please contact the Nutrition Office at 425-335-1561 or email: foodservices@lkstevens.wednet.edu.

    Full Day -  In-Person four days a week (some secondary students, self-contained Special Education): 

    Food Services will provide FREE breakfast and lunches to students requesting a meal.

    Meals will be served and consumed in areas that minimize contact points with social distancing following building procedures. 

    There is no charge for these meals or need to sign-up to participate

    All options will be individually wrapped and served in a grab and go bag with limited choices

    Distance Learning meal options are available for all kids and siblings

    Free 5-Day Meal Kits are available Wednesdays at the four Curbside Locations

    All kids and students, whether in-person or Distance Learners, as well as any child 18-years-old and younger are eligible to receive meals at no cost through our 5-Day Meal Kit Program. 

    There is no other eligibility requirement to participate  

    Food Services distribute FREE Meal Kits through curbside pick-ups every Wednesday

    Each meal kit includes five breakfasts, five lunches, fresh fruits, veggies and milk

    We encourage families to complete the sign up form (one time only) as this helps our team plan

    Meal Service During Distance Learning is every Wednesday at 4 Curbside Lake Stevens Schools:

    • Lake Stevens High School 10:00 am to Noon
    • Glenwood Elementary, 10:00 am to Noon
    • North Lake Middle School, 4:00 to 6:00 pm
    • Lake Stevens Middle School, 4:00 to 6:00 pm

    Paused during 2020-21 School Year.  Meals are FREE for all Students. Meal Charging Guidelines - We are committed to ensuring all Lake Stevens students continue to have access to meals and quality nutrition they need to grow, learn and thrive. Our department relies on student payments, in addition to Federal reimbursements, to provide healthy, appealing and affordable meals to all students.
