Swim Lessons

About Our Program

The Lake Stevens School District Pool offers swimming lessons for children as young as 6 months all the way to adults. Levels and skills taught can be found here. Unsure of your child's level? The pool offers assessments to ensure your child is placed in the best level for them to learn. Call the pool at (425) 335-1526, to schedule an assessment.

Registration

Swimming lesson registration is done on a first-come-first-served basis. All registration must be done in person at the pool.  Payment is due at the time of registration. Pre-registration is reserved for students enrolled in the most current session and their siblings.

Please note: Lake Stevens High School is a closed campus from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. DO NOT come in during school hours to register for swimming lessons. You will be asked to leave.

Cancellations

If a class is canceled by the pool, a credit for that day will be issued and may be redeemed at any time. All credits are kept on file at the pool for one year and may be used for any program. Credits not used after one year will be refunded by the District.  Refunds may be requested at any time and will be considered on a case by case basis.

The pool is unable to reschedule any missed group lessons and does not offer make-up days for missed lessons. Credits will not be given for missed classes.

Cancellations for private & semi-private lessons

Private lessons canceled by the pool will be rescheduled. Private lessons canceled by the student (or their parent/guardian) must be canceled at least 3 hours before the start of the lesson to be eligible for rescheduling. A credit will be issued if rescheduling is not possible. Failure to notify the pool at least 3 hours before the lesson could result in forfeiture of the payment for that lesson. If only one student shows up for a semi-private lesson, but the other is absent, the absent student will not be able to reschedule and is not eligible for a credit or refund.
