How do I register?
All registration is done in person at the pool. We do not offer registration online or by phone.
What’s the difference between pre-registration and open registration?
Pre-registration is for families who are currently enrolled in swim lessons at the LSSD Pool. If you aren’t currently enrolled in swim lessons, you can register during open registration.

Yes. If you’re currently enrolled in swim lessons, you may register for any available swim lessons during pre-registration.
My family is currently enrolled in swim lessons, but I can’t make it to the pool the day pre-registration begins. Can I register early?
No, but you’re welcome to send a friend or relative to register for you.
At what time do I register?
Registration times are listed on our Swim Lessons page. Regardless of whether you enroll during pre-registration or open registration, you can register anytime after the registration date and time when the pool is open to the public. Please see our facility schedule. Please do not arrive before 3pm on registration days as LSHS is a closed campus.

How many kids are in each class?
Our parent/child classes can have up to 10 children. Our pre-school classes (for 3- and 4-year-olds) can have up to three participants. Our youth level classes (ages 5 and up) can have up to six participants.
What’s the difference between private lessons and group lessons?
- Private lessons have one instructor and one participant. They last 30 minutes each and cost $32 per lesson.
- Semi-private lessons have one instructor and two participants of the same swimming ability. They last 30 minutes each and cost $48 per lesson for two participants or $24 per participant.
- Group lessons can have up to six participants in the class. They last 25 minutes each and cost $8 per lesson.
We recommend private lessons for participants (ages 5+) who may require some extra attention, participants who are trying to achieve specific goals (e.g., learning how to dive or kick breaststroke correctly), and participants who may be older than others in their current level.
Can I request a specific instructor?
Yes, you’re welcome to request a specific instructor, but please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request.
