Free Summer Lunch Program

The Lake Stevens School District’s Food and Nutritional Services Department is pleased to announce that a Free Summer Lunch Program will be available at the Early Learning Center beginning Monday, July 6 and will continue through Thursday, Aug. 6 (closed Fridays).

Program Details

Food will be served Mondays through Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with seating available in the cafeteria until 12:45 pm.

Any child or teen 18-years-old and younger is welcome to a free lunch; adults can purchase a meal for $6.00. Children must arrive during the service time to receive a free meal and must eat it on site.

When:

  • Mondays through Thursdays from July 6 to Aug. 6, 2026
  • Service time is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Closed Fridays

  • Early Learning Center cafeteria (9215 29th St NE Lake Stevens WA 98258)

Service details:

  • The daily menu will include hot and cold entrees, a fresh fruit and veggie garden bar and low-fat and nonfat milk.
  • Open to the community. All walk-ins welcome! No registration required.
  • Students can enjoy their meals in the cafeteria until 12:45 p.m.

Families can text “FOOD” or “COMIDA” to 509-509 to instantly find nearby summer meal sites. This service is fast, free, and available in English and Spanish, helping eliminate barriers and connect kids to nutritious meals all summer long.
