Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment runs from Oct. 23 to Nov. 20, 2023. Complete your enrollment at myaccount.hca.wa.gov.
Medical Enrollment Information
Medical coverage is optional; however, if employees do not wish to enroll in a medical plan, they must log into their account to waive the coverage. Failure to select a plan or waive the coverage will result in them being defaulted into the UMP Achieve 1 medical plan and charged a monthly premium as well as a $25.00 monthly smoking surcharge.

Dental Enrollment Information
Dental coverage is mandatory. There are three plans to choose from, and there is not a monthly premium for the coverage or for covering dependents.
Vision Enrollment Information
Vision coverage is mandatory. There are three plans to choose from, and there is not a monthly premium for the coverage or for covering dependents.
Medical, Dental and Vision
If no changes are made, plan coverages will automatically roll over to the next year. The exception is Flexible Spending and Dependent Care Assistance. Re-enrollment is required every year during Open Enrollment.
Dependent Verification
This is extremely important. Part of the enrollment process is to verify dependents added to your plans. Employees have until the close of Open Enrollment to upload the appropriate dependent verifications in their SEBB myaccount. This applies to all dependents being added to insurance plans. If the enrollment/verification deadline is missed, dependents will be removed from coverage.
To verify your current health care providers are covered on your medical, dental and/or vision plans, check the provider links on the SEBB website. Do not contact your provider's office. There are incidents where employees were told the plan they were looking at covered their provider when it did not. Check also for pharmacies and hospitals in the networks as not all are covered by every plan.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Assistance (DCAP)
To continue participation in FSA and DCAP, employees must re-enroll during open enrollment through Navia. These enrollments do not automatically roll over.
For assistance with your account or enrollment, contact the district Benefits Administrator Michelle Williams at (425) 335-1511 or michelle_williams@lkstevens.wednet.edu. Do not call SEBB/Healthcare Authority – they will direct you back to the school district.
