Bus Routes

Lake Stevens School District is no longer using e-LINK for bus route information. Instead, we’ve launched EZ A2B, a free and easy-to-use app that lets you:

  • See your student’s bus stop and schedule
  • Track the bus in real time
  • Get notifications when the bus is nearby
  • Receive alerts for delays or route changes

To get started, download the EZ A2B app:

You’ll need your child’s first and last name, date of birth, and student ID number to access information. Student ID numbers are the first portion of your child’s email address, and can be found in Family Access in Qmlativ.

Bus route information will be available for grades K-12 on Aug. 25. Information for preschool families will be available on Sept 4.

Updated walking boundaries, changes to bus routes

After careful review, safe walking boundaries have been expanded throughout the school district to allow more students the opportunity to walk to and from school. This was made possible due to road improvements and the addition of sidewalks throughout our community.

This expansion follows state laws to encompass residences within one mile of a school that have a safe walking path for students. That means that bus service will not be available to general education students who live within one mile of their school, who have a safe walking path to school.

We understand the impact this change has on families. Please know that this decision was made after reviewing the number of available bus drivers, and taking into consideration the rising fuel and maintenance costs associated with student transportation. School districts do not receive state reimbursement for the transportation of students who live within one mile of their school who have a safe walking path.

Bus routes throughout the district have been consolidated to reflect this change. Routes will be available in EZ A2B parent app August 24, 2025.

Límites peatonales actualizados, cambios en las rutas de autobús

Después de una cuidadosa revisión, se han ampliado los límites para caminar de manera segura en todo el distrito escolar para permitir que más estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de caminar hacia y desde la escuela. Esto fue posible gracias a las mejoras en las carreteras y la adición de aceras en toda nuestra comunidad.

Esta expansión sigue las leyes estatales para abarcar residencias dentro de una milla de una escuela que tienen un camino seguro para caminar para los estudiantes. Eso significa que el servicio de autobús no estará disponible para los estudiantes de educación general que viven dentro de una milla de su escuela, que tienen un camino seguro para caminar a la escuela.
