Over the past week, we have heard from many families, students, and staff regarding the recent walkouts. We recognize that this issue has generated strong feelings and, at times, division in our community. Because the conversation remains active, we want to provide a clear update.
Thank you, Lake Stevens community, for your support! Early ballot results indicate that both Lake Stevens School District levies are on track to pass. Learn more about what these levies will continue to fund.
Now accepting subcontractor bids for the Lake Stevens Security and Programming Improvements project, including construction of a new gymnasium at Hillcrest Elementary School. Bid packages are due March 3 through 5, 2026, with bids delivered to the Lake Stevens School District Planning & Construction Department.
Before Niko Anastasi, class of 2025, walked across the graduation stage, he already had a head start on his future.
We are hosting an open house for Elementary School #8 on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Stevens Creek Elementary School. This drop-in event will give community members an opportunity to ask questions, view renderings, and learn more about the construction timeline and process.
In February, voters will consider the renewal of our district’s levies: the Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy and the Technology Levy. These are not new taxes.
