Welcome to Kindergarten! I absolutely love teaching in the Lake Stevens School District, as I am teaching in the community I grew up in! I attended Skyline Elementary School, Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School, North Lake Middle School, Cavelero Mid-High, and graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2011. For my continuing education, I attended the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Special Education. Go Rainbow Warriors! I am dual certified in both Hawai’i and Washington State with endorsements in Elementary Education and Special Education Kindergarten through 12th grade. In my free time, I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. In July 2017 we welcomed our first baby to our family and we are enjoying every minute with her. Some of my hobbies include cooking, crafting, running, and trying out new restaurants with my husband!

This will be my fourth year teaching Kindergarten and it truly is my passion! My goals for the classroom are to create a strong sense of community and acceptance, as well as having an interactive learning space for students. I look forward to being in the classroom and learning alongside my students. I stay connected through email and Class Dojo, and hope to communicate and keep all of my parents involved with what their child is working on in the classroom. If you have any questions, just email me! Aloha!
