Mrs. Annemarie Russell
I love words, and I especially love helping my students use words to find their voices, think critically, appreciate stories, and build their skills in English.
I also welcome hearing from parents about their concerns and questions, so don't hesitate to contact me via email or phone if there is anything I can do to support your student better.
I have been teaching at LSHS since September of 2016. I hold a B.A. in English Education from Whitworth University and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Oregon. Prior to teaching in Lake Stevens, I taught at Trinity Lutheran College, Oregon City High School, the University of Oregon, Mercer Island High School, and Oak Harbor High School.
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and three children, hiking and camping, reading, cooking, and growing food and flowers in my garden.
