Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child this year. It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Nick Page. Some of you may have middle school students in his class too. He teaches Social Studies and Leadership at Lake Stevens Middle School. We met in grad school, have been married for about three years, and have a beautiful daughter, Adley and two furry children, Whiskey the Cat and Wilson the Puppy.
I have lived in Washington for about 11 years. I attended high school in Eugene, Oregon and worked in the real estate world for a couple of years before I made the transition to education. I went to The University of Washington (GO HUSKIES) where I received a bachelor’s of arts in Community Psychology and continued on to Northwest University where I received my master’s in teaching.
This will be my fifth year teaching with an additional year of subbing. The first two years of my teaching career were in 2nd and 4th grade at a private school in Bothell. Before that, I subbed and did my student teaching in Northshore School District. The last two years I taught 4th grade right here at Hillcrest. I absolutely love teaching 4th grade! It is my mission to instill accountability and responsibility in my students, along with a life-long love for learning.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us. I look forward to a great year together!
Mrs. Christie Page
