I grew up in Minnesota and attended Bemidji State University. After moving to Washington State I completed my Bachelors Degree at Seattle Pacific University. My next stop was teaching Health and Fitness at Olympic View Middle School in the Mukilteo School District. I received a Masters Degree in Administration from City University and began my career as an Associate Principal in Lake Stevens.

Family is very important to me, I have been married to my wife Lori for over 23 years, she is also a teacher in Lake Stevens. My daughter swims, skis and plays softball. As a family we enjoy spending time in the outdoors, fishing, camping, skiing and traveling.

A few of my roles at LSMS include; working with the math, electives, and wellness departments. I oversee ASB, athletics, clubs, student discipline, attendance and school safety.
