CTE Dual Credit
Career and Technical Education Dual Credit offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit for successful completion of CTE courses taught by certified high school instructors. Through this program, community and technical colleges allow certified CTE teachers to deliver college-equivalent CTE courses to students in grades 9-12 for dual high school and college credit. Courses are offered at Lake Stevens High School and Cavelero Mid High School through an articulation agreement between the school district and the college.
Lake Stevens School District partners with Everett Community College and Pacific Northwest College Credit to provide CTE Dual Credit opportunities.
Students must qualify for the CTE Dual Credit by earning a sufficient grade and demonstration of meeting specific competencies. For more information about CTE Dual Credit for specific CTE courses, please connect with the CTE teacher.
