    Class of 2018 and Beyond:

    Graduation Requirements for Class of 2018 and Beyond (Total Credits Required = 23.5)

     
    English
    Must include English 9 (1.0 credit), English 10 (1.0 credit), English 11 (1.0 credit), and 2 1-semester electives. Minimum of 4.0 credits.

    Mathematics
    Minimum of 3.0 credits.

    Social Studies
    Must include 8th grade WSH, Global Studies or AP Euro (1.0 Credit), US History 1-2 (1.0 Credit), Contemporary World Issues (0.5 Credit), Contemporary American Issues (0.5 Credit), or AP Government (1.0 Credit). Minimum of 3.0 credits.

    Science
    Must include one lab science credit. Minimum of 2.0 credits.

    Physical Education
    Minimum of 1.5 credits.

    Health
    Minimum of 0.5 credits.

    Occupational Education
    Minimum of 1.5 credits.

    Fine Arts
    Minimum of 1.0 credits.

    Electives
    Minimum of 7.0 credits.
     

    *Students must pass the reading and writing portion of the HSPE/EOC or an approved alternative such as a Collection of Evidence or meeting SAT or ACT cut score established by the state.

    ^Students must pass the Math EOC or meeting SAT or ACT cut score established by the state. As a result of new legislation students who have not met standard on the Math EOC must continually be enrolled in a math course until they graduate.

    ^Students must pass the Science EOC or Collection of Evidence.

    ‡Occupational includes Technical classes, such as Digital Design, Journalism, Drafting, and Computer Applications.
