Washington Aerospace Scholars

The Western Aerospace Scholars (WAS) Sophomore program is a two-part program in which students complete two lessons online focused on the science of space and the history of robotic space travel to qualify to participate in a 3-day (non-residential) summer experience that will occur between mid-June to mid-August. Sophomores who successfully complete the WAS Sophomore program are given automatic admission into the WAS Junior program and transfer their assignment scores into the full junior program.

There is no cost to participate in the WAS Sophomore program.
