Dear Lake Stevens School District families,

Thank you for your patience as we worked to prepare for the second round of Chromebook distribution. If your elementary student needs a Chromebook to access learning resources, and you do not have another device at home for him or her to use, please join us on Monday, March 30 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Cavelero Mid High School.

Remain in your vehicle, and drive-up to get a device. We are unable to accommodate walkup checkouts. As you approach Cavelero, drive to the back of the school and turn left. Follow the signs to the bus loop. Please refer to the attached map for more details.

You will need your student’s name, birthday and student ID number. We do have the ability to look up student ID numbers if you don’t have it. Parents and guardians may check out a device without their student present. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive a device. Please do not send your student on their own. At this time, we will only issue one device per family.

We appreciate the offers we have received from families willing to return their borrowed devices to increase our supply. This is not necessary. However, this distribution is only for elementary students who do not have access to another device.

Students are able to access a number of learning resources on a variety of devices. While Chromebooks are the district’s chosen device, they are certainly not the only option.
